Pre-Natal Yoga: Gentleness and Well-Being for Mums-to-Be, Sunday 10 November with @sophiel1gl1
Give yourself a moment of well-being and gently prepare for your baby's arrival. Namaste!
Pregnancy is a special time in a woman's life to listen to herself and to the child yet to be born. During this period, yoga allows the body to move gently in order to relieve tension, minor aches and fatigue, and to listen to the body so as to approach these changes more serenely. It allows you to keep up physical activity while working on yoga postures differently.
The Bernadette de Gasquet method focuses on listening to sensations and emotions, and on relaxation and breathing. The mother-to-be breathes for two for 9 months. Learning to breathe consciously benefits both mother and baby. Tools are provided to approach childbirth in the best possible conditions.
This class is not childbirth preparation. It is a complement to, but not a substitute for, the birth preparation sessions provided by maternity units or midwives.
