The therapeutic baby bath is an emotional support treatment offered in the first weeks of life, designed to give the newborn a gentle transition between life in the womb and the outside world. Through a wrapped, secure bath, the baby rediscovers familiar sensations: the warmth, containment and calm experienced during pregnancy. This moment is especially beneficial for babies who had a fast, medicalised birth, a caesarean or a more intense delivery, but also for parents who feel the need to relive this passage with more gentleness, calm and serenity. Much more than a bath, it's a genuine emotional break that lets the baby release certain birth-related tensions, while offering parents a deeply soothing, emotionally rich moment. Depending on the baby's needs, the treatment can also include a gentle massage and a skin-to-skin moment with mum or dad, to extend this sensory, wrapping experience. The therapeutic baby bath can also simply be enjoyed as a unique experience to offer your baby, or as a birth gift. Treatment carried out by Tabba Meriem, a childcare assistant and parenting coach, with 9 years' experience in maternity and delivery wards, trained in the therapeutic baby bath by Sonia Krief at L'École du Bien Naître (the bath's creator) in Neuilly-sur-Seine. Each session takes place in an intimate, cocooning atmosphere within Empreinte Capsule.
