Le Yack - Exhibition "Between STREET and POP"

Posted on: Friday, August 25, 2023

The Digital Artist from Orléans, Le Yack, mixes codes and brilliantly blends elements of Pop Art, Street Art, and classical and modern painting. Come and meet the Artist, who will be present all weekend.

LE YACK was born in Tours in 1972. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. His encounter with Loiret-based visual artist Daniel-Charles Caspar was a turning point.

The Artist is inspired by classical and modern painting. He brings a contemporary outlook to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterised by vivid colours, dynamic shapes and expressive compositions.

The Artist pursues an innovative approach, and his use of digital resources allows him to create original works that capture the eye and invite reflection. A delicious blend between traditional art and the infinite possibilities offered by digital technology.

LE YACK explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his creations are reproduced on stretched canvas frames, in limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Others are original works on canvas.

The Artist, thirsty for experimentation, sets himself new challenges. During the Festival de Loire next September, you will be able to see him take on the exercise of Street Art. He will create a graffiti piece on a giant tarpaulin.

LE YACK is present in numerous private collections. The Artist is exhibited in a network of some forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium and the United States. On a daily basis, the Artist is an artistic director in publishing and web for a communications agency in Olivet.
