The origins of Orléans et sa Métropole vues d'en O

Passionate about aerial photography, Didier Depoorter already took such photos for companies. In order to be independent and limit the environmental cost, he decided to get his drone pilot's licence during the first lockdown, taking his first photos at that time. This is how he rediscovered Orléans and took many photographs for the metropolitan area and its stakeholders, who found them "unprecedented, impressive and superb," offering a completely different perspective on the city and its surroundings.

Having built up a wealth of striking images, he felt the desire to push the exploration even further. Today, he invites you to contemplate "Orléans et sa Métropole vues d'en O," his new exhibition. On this occasion, the artist will be signing the book of the same name, which brings together all this work.
