"Sonates" Exhibition by artist Temponok, from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 July

TEMPONOK is a Parisian graffiti artist. His distinctive pseudonym comes from a shortening of the word "temporality".

Temponok is a self-taught visual artist who emerged from the graffiti movement. His work revolves around the soap bubble and its transparency, which he has been exploring for around fifteen years.

The Artist began by using spray paint, then over time other techniques came to enrich his palette, such as acrylic, oil and resin.

In his works, Temponok's fundamental idea is the exploration of time, of the ephemeral, of melancholy. These are themes that echo existentialist currents of thought.

In terms of form, the Artist has moved away from his early graffiti influences towards a more poetic blend of vanitas and bubbles, flirting between abstract expressionism and surrealism. His goal remains to question the very notion of existence.
