Photo Exhibition "FRAGMENTS" by Claire SIRAUT

Posted on: Wednesday, October 1, 2025

"To photograph is to brush against the soul of a stranger, to steal a shiver from the wind just before it disappears." — Claire Siraut

On the invisible walls of the city, Claire Siraut photographs her poetry of asphalt. She writes with the brilliance of reality, with what remains unsaid. Around the bend of a side street, in the hollow of a forgotten pavement, between two footsteps, she captures the invisible: the shadow of a silhouette, the gentle burn of a silence, the fleeting glimmer of a passing life.

"FRAGMENTS" is a sensitive collage on the wall of time, a puzzle of silent encounters, a quiet cry within the urban din. Each photo is a trace, a wingbeat on the concrete, a true moment, fragile as a secret confided to the city. It is an album of shadows we pass without seeing, which she captures on the fly. Her black and white is the ink of the instant, an emotion close to the skin.
