LE YACK launches in 2020, in a painting "graffiti", trying to create a universe by taking back mythical characters of our modern society, such as Frida Kahlo and Uma Thurman...
Colorful and joyful works where the presence of "writing" pays tribute to urban art.
"What I like in street art is this recovery of images and its transformation. A representation that pushes artists to mix iconographic worlds. My inspiration comes from what I like: the cinema, advertisements, series ... I am inspired to prepare my work on photoshop to find the right balance. Then comes the painting part and little by little the final image comes out with the brush, the spray and the posca. Revisiting the iconography of pop culture in my paintings is the very expression of my works signed Leyack."
