Claire Siraut, "Anonymes"
“Photography is like an encounter: a combination of luck and chance, an emotion as sudden as it is ephemeral…”
The Artist observes… When a scene unfolds before her eyes, she has only a few seconds to capture it before it escapes. It can be a silhouette, whose presence gives all its poetry to a scene of banal appearance, a model, which, guided by the lens, is gradually revealed.
CLAIRE SIRAUT speaks black and white. It allows her to recount with emotion the moment that presents itself before his eyes, and to focus on the essential: the subject, the composition, the light.
The Artist emerges here from the shadows with the exhibition «Anonyme» which traces the essence of his work until today. This exhibition is the result of meetings with these «Anonymous» that chance has put on its way, and those who have agreed to reveal themselves in front of the objective.
